Donor Appointments System

Pension Changes

The NHS pension system is changing. For some staff this may be a good thing but for others there could be disadvantages. For full details, go the the NHS Pensions website.

Broadly speaking, if you intend to work until you are 65, the new scheme will probably be better, but if you intend to retire before that you are better off under the old scheme. All current members will have the option to stay with the old scheme (but with slightly higher contributions) or transfer to the new scheme.
